Instagram now owns your photos, and can sell them.

As of January 16th, updates to Instagram’s terms of service and privacy policy mean that the app holds a royalty-free, worldwide license to all posted images. The update has triggered a major backlash causing users to jump ship and a PR scramble to cover up and amend the new agreement.
